There is No Waste - Soil fertility explored the unexplored area - soil. It is responsible for all life, but has been ignored and abused for the last 100 years. Dave Beecher led the exchange, demonstrated the role of soil and how it uses waste products efficiently. He also discussed how, as farmers, we can use soil to reduce our waste while increasing soil organic matter and carbon. Techniques such as composting, compost teas, and soil inoculation were all addressed in this exchange.
