Watch a live demonstration of traditional beeswax candle making, hand-dipped with love.
Understand the steps of transforming a honeycomb from the hive into a beeswax candle.
Watch Ailbhe melt and work with beeswax the traditional way.
Observe the skill of hand-dipping tapered candles and hand-pouring scented beeswax candles.
Immerse yourself in a VR experience of the farm whilst being surrounded by the sound of honeybees.
Craft your own beeswax candle under the expert tutelage of Ailbhe Gerrard. (As featured in the PBS documentary: “From Ireland with Love”)

Things to note

4-5 visitors €150 per person subject to a minimum of 4 people (or the equivalent in charges for lower numbers). Max 6-10 people: charge of €100 per person for every additional person.

What to bring

The above experience is on a working farm. Bring suitable footwear for rough and muddy terrain and rain gear for the season and Irish weather.

Weather disruptions

This is an indoor tour. An ideal additional event for wet weather.
