Ailbhe Gerrard, owner of Brookfield Farm shares info about her diverse certified organic farm and her Field Exchange program which serves to bring local farmers together to share ideas and inspiration for transitioning from traditional to organic farming.

"I'm farming on Brookfield Farm on the shores of beautiful Lough Derg, County Tipperary. It's a very diverse Farm. It's certified organic and we have trees, sheep and bees and crops including organic barley, hay and silage."

"I was very glad to be able to buy a farm in 2010 very close to my parents and I've been farming ever since converting the farm from conventional to organic and making it much more diverse and teaching agriculture."

"We have a great program called Field Exchange that I want to tell you about it is about bringing farmers and sustainable farming experts, people who know about things like agroforestry and soil fertility together with artists so there's artists who are working in our program with local Farmers and we're all learning together from each other that's why it's called Field Exchange."

"We are delighted to welcome everybody to our Field Exchange festival which is the last weekend in August  - 31st of August 1st of September."
