In the face of climate disruption, biodiversity loss, and economic uncertainty, the Field Exchange Symposium offers a vital space for dialogue, creativity, and reimagining our relationship with land, food, and place.
This one-day gathering marks the opening of the Field Exchange Festival.
Meet farmers, artists, researchers, community food advocates, and policy influencers to explore farming as a creative, cultural, and ecological practice.
Start with an optional stakeholders and networking lunch, showcasing the best of Tipperary food.
Dive into our talks and panel discussions from 2-5pm.
Topics will include:
- Agroecology, agroforestry, traditional skills like dry stone walling, and the role of art and craft in regenerating land and community.
- Meet and hear from the artists, farmers, agroforestry and dry stone wall experts.
- Hear stories of thriving local food initiatives and connect with a growing Community of Practice working at the intersections of farming, creativity, and climate.
