Brookfield Farm
Corporate Hiveshare
A thoughtful corporate gift and biodiversity experience from the shores of Lough Derg
Brookfield Farm is an organic farm on the shores of Lough Derg in Co. Tipperary, cared for by farmer, beekeeper and educator Ailbhe Gerrard.
The farm brings together beekeeping, food production, wildflower meadows, native hedgerows, broadleaf woodland and creative public engagement.
Corporate Hiveshare invites businesses to support Irish bees and biodiversity while sharing in the craft, care and seasonal beauty of beekeeping on a living sustainable Irish farm.
It is a share in the experience of beekeeping at Brookfield Farm, rather than ownership of a specific hive.
Select from our range of Hiveshare gift packages that allows individuals to share in the experience of beekeeping and enjoy its harvest while also supporting sustainable farming.
Alternatively choose from our beautifully presented honey , beeswax and hand-made candle gift boxes.

Why Support Irish Bees?
We offer a lovely connection to bees and our work with them.
- Support Irish biodiversity: Help protect native bees, pollinators and the habitats that sustain them.
- Connect with a living farm: Brookfield Farm is organically certified and managed with bees in mind: flower meadows, hedgerows, broadleaf trees and woodland edges. We are unusual in beekeeping, as we are also land managers (Brookfield Farm), so we can manage the land to suit our bees – sowing flower meadows, planting broadleaf trees, and so on.
- Support native Irish black bees: Our bees are native Irish black bees, well adapted to Irish conditions and part of Ireland’s natural heritage. A wonderful ancient species, distinct from the European bee.
- Be part of a recognised sanctuary: Brookfield Farm has been recognised as a Native Irish Honey Bee Sanctuary on the shores of Lough Derg. You can be part of this with a corporate bee sponsor Hiveshare option.
